I went for a walk this morning. I walked across the 80 acre parcel, along the fence row, and through the corn field. I went so far that I was beginning to wish I had turned back sooner and to think that the children would wonder where I had gone. As I was making it over the last hill, I noticed a young, blond boy carrying a basketball, wearing a sweatshirt (I was in my down coat), and heading my way. My 1st thought was to point out to my son that I had walked the entire field and found no basketball hoop therein. I held my tongue and waited for him to speak.
"What's for lunch?"
So much for worried children.

We were just afraid you were lost again. :)
Bethany

and if you were lost....did you leave them something to eat in the crock pot....
yup that would be my family.
"oh you're leaving home?, sure we'll miss you, did you grocery shop?"
A boy with a ball....
It's kinda like a boy and his dog.
Matthew totes a football around the house. Slapping it in his hands and constantly tossing it and dropping it.
Weird.
LOL! My first thought was that someone got injured doing a slam dunk. I'm glad he was just hungry.
Dy, wondering what that says about my boys...
