Thankful celebrations

Forty-two turkeys later...

Today our community is have a Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone volunteers and donates for a free meal and anyone can attend. My dd will be helping and playing the piano. Lots of people get involved with this. Then tonight will be our church's Thanksgiving service. Tomorrow we will head out to Grandma's for the annual feast of turkey, stuffing, corn, green beans, rolls, multiple salads, and pies with lots of of my husband's family. We are thankful for so much: family, friends, health, a good harvest, and God's constant love and blessings.

Today is my 26th wedding anniversary (Donna might notice the typo on her blog--I did not go back and correct it :-). I am thankful for a wonderful husband, great children, a pleasant place to live, and a peaceful life.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving? For what are you thankful this year?

Jean
