On the eve of Epiphany the children set a pair of shoes outside their bedroom doors so that the Wise Men could drop a present into them on their way by. This child decided a pair of slippers would work just as well--and they did. A little money and an extra big orange was found there this morning. What fun! Today we will take down the Christmas tree, but the Créche (with the newly arrived Wise Men), Bethany's gingerbread house, and the lights on the light post will still remain up for a while.

I told my kids today that some people bring the wise men to the nativity set today as it is Epiphany...they wondered if the wise men were kept in a different room until today...
I thought it would be fun to move them closer as the 6th comes along :o)
