School Days

TWO WEEKS OF VACATION.

Well, at least one week. My youngest may do some work next week while his brother and sister are involved in daily play practice.

I’m beginning to look at what I need to buy next year. I don’t think I’m ready to write about it yet. It is organizing itself in my head, but not on paper as of yet. (Yes, homeschooling seems to have a life of its own and does take over my thoughts to organize itself.)

I’ve cleared off the school table, organized my books in the bay window, and replaced them with an ongoing game of Lord of the Rings Risk. The papers are graded (maybe not—now that I think about it, a history paper awaits me). Now is the time too cook, clean, read, and play, right?
