The weather has been very normal for March in Wisconsin. We had several inches of blowing snow last week, and two days later it was sunny and 60 degrees. The one constant: the wind. March is flight kying* weather, but we must be careful to choose a day that will not break the kite string due to gale force winds!
This week is also my nephew Timothy’s birthday. It would be nice if you were to say a prayer for the safety for him and all of our soldiers in Iraq. He is a medic. His HMMV was hit by an IEP (improvised explosive device), but thankfully no one was seriously injured. His wife and newborn baby girl are here in the states. I am starting to knit a prayer shawl for them and hope to have it finished by the time he returns. Perhaps some of you would like to add them to your prayer list.
I’ve decided to try typing into my blog as I have time and posting just once each week. This way you can stop by as you have time to read pieces of it, but I do not have to be tied to getting something posted each day. We will give this a try—tell me what you think.
