We had rain last night--a steady drumming against the roof punctuated by thunder and lightning. The soybean fields are beginning to turn yellow and the corn is starting to dry down. In another month we should have begun the soybean harvest. The birds are flocking and I've seen a few geese flying in formation. Summer is coming to an end here in Wisconsin.
