Awww, Jean, the pictures are sooo sweet! I want to cuddle one right now. And wow, I even made the headlines! I just love you pictures.
And I've got a hoot of a cat-tale to tell you if I find your address back on the blog and can find a few minutes. It all involves Sunday dinner company; a sink full of hot, soapy water; and a cat scared by the company.....You'll have to be content with your imagination until I can tell ya!
Dy always says, "Kiss those babies!" I always say, "Snuggle those kitties!"
Donna, we do still have all four kittens. Tell Katie I'll snap a more current picture of them sometime when I can get somebody to corral all those fuzzy little bodies at the same time :-) Jean
Janie, you can contact me through my Web site, Fairview.
Jean, How can anything so cute be an enemy? I've always been a cat person. My husband says he doesn't like cats, but we have recently heard him speaking sweet nothings to our outside kitties. Perhaps he is converting.
India Ink is a very sassy cat. Those little fuzz balls are invited into the sun porch by the humans and they have the chutzpa to sit by Indie's wood stove on HER favorite tile, play with HER mouse, play with HER TAIL, and FALL ON HER when charging each other!!! No one does that to Inkie and still remain on good terms!!!!
To dear Old Ink Pot, those little critters are varmin that should not be allowed into her domain!!!!! And to top it all off, they are all Wannabe's. They wannabe house cats and covet HER POSITION!&!
I am both the wife of an engineer-turned-farmer in the beautiful hills of Wisconsin and the homeschooling mom of 3 teenagers. We raise Simmental cattle and grow corn, and soybeans. We also raise chickens and turkeys for our own use and have laying hens. We are giving our children a Christian classical education,
and this is our 13th year of homeschooling. The night sky is my hobby. I sew, knit, bake bread, cook from scratch, grind wheat, garden, make soap and so much more! Also, I should not forget to tell you that we all love cats! Welcome!

Katie pointed at little Oreo (I think) and said, "That's the kitty I was holding."
Very sweet. Do you still have all of these kittys?
